Borgant (ボーガント Bōganto) is the main antagonist in the movie The Records of Nobita: Spaceblazer as well as the remake The New Record of Nobita: Spaceblazer.

Story

Borgant is an executive of the Garutite Mining Corporation who desires Planet Koya Koya. He sends Doubt and Uno to force its inhabitant to hand over it to him, but they are defeated by Nobita, Doraemon and their friends. Because of this, he decides to invite the corporation's top enforcer Guillermin to help him.

Guillermin does a good job in helping them, blackmailing Koya Koya's inhabitants with a bomb that would blow up the planet if they didn't comply. However, he is eventually killed (defeated in the remake) in a gun fight with Nobita. Borgant then activates the bomb before fleeing alongside Doubt and Uno, but Doraemon's Time-Cloth nullifies it. Borgant, Doubt and Uno are then arrested by the police.

Personality

Borgant is a cold and insidious person who, unlike Guillermin, willingly resorts to all dirty tricks to get what he wants. He is also greedy and desires Planet Koya Koya. He is also a coward, fleeing the moment Guillermin is defeated, and pleading innocent when being arrested by the police.
