Gonsuke (ゴンスケ Gonsuke), or Gaozook in the English dub, is a robot that generally plants sweet potatoes and harvests them. He is originally a character from the Fujiko F. Fujio's manga, 21-emon and Ume Boshi Denka. He also appeared in some Doraemon's special episodes (2005 anime) as a policeman, car fixer and more.
Story
Furthermore, Gonsuke also appeared in the 2002 Doraemon movie, Nobita in the Robot Kingdom as a minor character whom Nobita buys from the Future Department Store.
He also appears in the 2012 Doraemon movie, Doraemon: Nobita and the Island of Miracles ~Animal Adventure~. He appears to be the one who brought Doraemon along with his friends to the island using the time machine.
He also appeared in the 2013 movie, Doraemon: Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum as a sweet potato farmer.
He also appeared in the 2021 movie Little Mystic Super-express.
He also appeared in the 2011 special episode Move Fast, Doraemon! The Galactic Grandprix, which he helped Doraemon and Nobita to wins
Trivia
- In the 2002 movie, he only digs the single large hole in the Open Lot and asks Doraemon if he may help him. However, in the manga, he and the Mole Robots are digging several holes in the lot and get rid of Doraemon by the police robots.
- He also appeared in a current 2005 anime series as a big-sized robot. Even the Transformer head can be applied as his head.
